Summer Camp
-
Oak Tree offers a wonderful, fun-filled summer. One
filled with laughter, friends and outdoor activities.
We have three groups of campers in the summer, a
preschool group, a pre-kindergarten group and a
school-age group. The program runs from Monday-Friday
from 7:00a.m until 6:00p.m. Our goal is to fill their
summers with memories that last a lifetime!
Preschool Summer
Camp - Each summer offers a new and exciting
theme. We do many amazing activities related to that
theme. This summer we will focus on the Olympics.
Before the Olympic games we will make passports, talk
about the countries, learn a few words from different
languages, and discuss traditions. During the games,
we will host a mini-Olympics complete with obstacle
courses, water balloon races and many more. We will
have many structured activities that stimulate
academic, physical and social growth.
Pre-kindergarten
Summer Camp - Our pre-kindergarten summer camp
consist of children ready to go off to kindergarten in
September! Each year brings an exciting theme.
This summer we will focus on the Olympics. Before the
Olympic games, we will talk about all the countries,
make our own passports, learn a few words from
different languages, and discuss traditions. We will
keep our pre-reading and writing skills sharp through
projects and activities related to this theme. During
the games, we will host our own Oak Tree
Mini-Olympics, complete with Opening and Closing
ceremonies. We will race our bikes, host a mini
tournament, etc. All the activities will encompass the
skills needed for kindergarten.
School-Age
Summer Camp - Our school-age summer camp program
offers a unique blend of structured, competitive
activities with relaxed, unstructured time to play
with friends. The children have the chance to try new
things, learn new skills, and play organized games.
And they also have the chance to be a kid and
play their favorite, chosen activities with friends.
Each week includes an out of the ordinary field trip,
anything from the movies, to roller-skating, to
bowling. We include new trips each summer and
keep the popular ones! No summer camp would be
complete without Arts and Crafts, and we make
everything from goo to candles. We create a summer
full of laughs, friendship and camaraderie.
